This is an Ancient Jade Skull - one of the little skulls I cam across on my travels. If you look at the picture for the back you will see this is a solid skull with a hold through the back.In China they call these a netsuke, the Chinese wear them on their belts for good luck and protection. Jade has been worn for thousands of years to ward of negativity, for protection and good health.
BLUE JADE
In Chinese tradition, jade symbolized the five virtues of humanity: wisdom, compassion, justice, modesty and courage.Blue Jade clears and stimulates the Throat Chakra, allowing for the healing energies of sound and self-expression. As a dream and visionary stone, it also has the ability to activate the Crown Chakra. It is thought to release negative thoughts and to soothe the mind. Jade is a protective stone, said to protect the wearer from harm and to attract good luck and friendship.
TOOMS IN CHINA
China has a large population. People often ask, "Well how many tombs can there be"? This is one of the skulls that I purchased on my travels in Hong Kong, where many stories can be told. One of those is that there are many tombs being found and that they are not always accessed. A light and camera will be lowered to see if the tomb is viable for opening. A few Jade Skulls are now becoming available on the market.
